JOB TITLE: Systems Specialist-Senior Analyst

DUTIES: Manage and guide a team to design, build, and implement day-to-day processes, including data identification and collection, design, construction, implementation and maintenance of analytic frameworks, and presentation of findings. Design and develop code using ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL server, Azure SQL Server, Microsoft Azure Cloud platform, Amazon Web Services, API integration, secure FTP, and Crystal reports. Work with SQL Server SSIS packages to import/integrate data. Perform large scale database management and development. Use Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS) or DevOps tools for software development lifecycle methodologies. Engineer processes to automate data integration, perform analytics and generate reports. Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve data and user systems errors using Visual Studio. Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical principles to the design, develop, test, and evaluate software and systems. Work with development team to implement solutions and implement data purge. Maintain database and code change control processes using VSTS/DevOps. Maintain separate development/test/production environments. Build a best-in-class analytical roadmap of short-term and long-term objectives. Develop and implement project plans within timeline. Provide detailed project status and executive reporting status of assigned projects. Integrate the system with health information exchanges (HIE) and Healthcare Data companies using HIPPA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996) complaint protocols. Design and develop a proprietary encryption certificate using HIPPA complaint encryption algorithm. Design and develop modules to integrate electronic health record software to obtain and analyze clinical data. Design and develop reports and derive data using John-Hopkins predictive analytics methodologies and claims-based NYU Emergency Department utilization Analytics to Identify Potentially Avoidable ER Visits and Assigned Predictive Analytics on Patient Care. Design and develop reports on claims-based gaps in the quality of care provided to Medicare patients, using Medicare standard of care specified for the corresponding demography.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering followed by 6 years of progressive experience using SQL server and working with SQL Server SSIS packages to import/integrate data. 6 years of experience with large scale database management and development. 6 years of experience working with ASP.Net and VB.Net. 6 years of experience engineering processes to automate data integration, performing analytics and generating reports. 6 years of experience in software development lifecycle methodologies. Experience therein to include 2 years of experience in Azure Cloud platform or Amazon Web Services.
